“The Face of Dilemma”

Commercial and hand-dyed fabrics, machine pieced and quilted.  The piece was embellished with embroidery work mostly made on water soluble stabilizer and then stitched onto the quilted wall hanging.  

A little self portrait completed for Q & A Art Quilts group.  This piece is shown with the self portraits of other artists in our Q & A exhibits.

The portrait was made during a time when I was torn between two sets of events – some terrifying while some were the sources of elation.
